Physical Fitness

I have attended a physical fitness program two months back and now i lost 10 kgs without any food restrictions. Only i have changed my eating habits. I leart some exercises,Yoga and following daily till today after the program.I wanted to share my thoughts, which i gained from the program.People who are looking forward to reduce their weights, keep fit body can follow these tips.

This blog aims to raise awareness among the people about the importance of a healthy lifestyle,maintaining healthy body weight and to equip them with the knowledge and skills to practice healthy lifestyle.

Physical fitness program is the famous program among people now-a-days.

All programs Promoting two components of a healthy life style- Regular Exercise and healthy eating.

The healthy lifestyle means balanced diet and good physical exercise that a sedentary life is an open invitation to overweight,obesity snd related health issues.

Obesity is linked to the so-called lifestyle diseases like type 2 diabetes mellitus,hypertension,obstructive sleep apnea,poor self esteem,heart disease.
One does not have to follow a rigorous exercise programme to be healthy.

Normal health program components are flexibility,strength,dynamic strength,cardio vascular endurance and fat body composition.

Exercises needs to be practiced on a regular basis to be fit and healthy.

some regular tips for a healthy life style are

1. Exercise should be done atleast for 30 mts. Because,Fat does not start burning for first 15 minutes.

2.Exercises to be done atleast for 5-10 minutes to raise heart rates to a cetain level,which is then required to be maintained for another 20-25 minutes for FAT burning effects.

3. With out stretching exercises an exercise program remains incomplete.

4. Weight Training should be included in an exercise programm for atleast twise week.

5.Don't make any food within an hour after exercise as fat burning continues for energy.

6. Drink a lot of water after exercise.

7. Eat Citrus fruits like, oranges,grapefruit Tangerines,lemons and limes contain high concenrtrations of vitamin C(it is called as ascorbic acid),This vitamin C has a fat burning quality.

8.Take whole fruits rather than juice.

9. Fat is not always bad. Only you have to know what type of fat yoou are taking.Liquid fat (monosaturated) is prefereably good.

10. Students and children should not skip their meals.They should try all varieties of food contains vegetables and less starch(carbohydrate)

11.Eat a lot of salad containing tomato,carrot and cucumber before start of food.

12.A Glass of thick DAL (pulse) can also be taken in place of extra starch food (rice/chappati) for good contents of protein and fibre.

13. Don't take food immediately if you are hungry.wait atleast for half an hour.

14. Avoid evening snacks.

15. Avoid taking food frequently in a small portion as advised by many dietitions.Stick to breakfast,lunch and dinner.

16. Breakfast should contain vegetables,like green beans and green peas including an apple but less food rich in carbohydrate.

17. Apple contains pectin which can limit the amount of fat,your cells can absorb.

18. Eat Soyabeans which can boost body's ability to get rid of fat.

19. No food is bad, only its preparation matters.

20. If you eat more calories than you burn off through daily activites,you gain weight.

21. If you eat fewer calories than you burn up, you end losing weight.

22. If you don't find time to exercise or not getting any physical fitness program or trainer, Don't worry-Fast walking for 40 mts/day gives you the same effect. Remember----you should cover atleast 6 kms in 40mts. Then only it will be effective.

Be fit...

How to be fit? it is an important question in our mind always. its good to care about fitness but at the same time don't get confused with many tips.

You have already know about the intake of water for a day.. you have read about "drink 8 glasses" "drink 10 glassess" And many of you immediately tried that too, and within 2,3 days you became tired and bored and left the habit. Still you have a feeing of not drinking enough water for a day? don't worry.

You get the enough water for your body through the coffee,Tea,cool drinks and fruit juices.This is proved by reaserches too. It is not suitable for those who have kidney problems and you can compensate the salt loss through the sweating by taking food with salt.Means your food easily compensate your salt loss.

So, no need to count and drink 8-10 glassess everyday and sometimes you feel irritating of the habit too. So, be cool and If you eating normal home food with less oil and fat with little exercise and more works you will always be fit.

Eat less-Work more and Be fit always.

Be Healthy with Oil Pulling

Heard about Oil Pulling?

It is very simple to follow and it can be very effective to keep you healthy.

Just Take 3,4 spoonful of " Seasame Oil," "(Commonly known as Gingelly oil",Til oil)"), in your mouth and keep it in your mouth.

Don't swallow!

Gargle the oil inside your mouth and allow the oil to go in between your teeth for 15 to 20 minutes.The oil become thinner (watery) and white if you do it fastly,and then spit it out. Then Clean Your Mouth by rinsing with water for 2,3 times.It is better to do in the early morning on your empty stomach. And you can do it 2 0r 3 times daily, but always before food.If you do this continuously for atleast a 10-12 months, your Body conditions will be improved.Because while spliting, many of the bacteria from your mouth will be removed from your mouth.

Oil Pulling Stabilizes the Cholestral level.It increases the Healing process.It maintains the Teeth life and you will be away from throat infections. Good memory improvement is the Bonus effect of this oil therapy. You can feel the good deep sleep and good apetite. Your beauty will be increased by the shine of your skin with oil pulling.Your skin will be soft with out any markings.

This happens mainly ,because of untimely food, inadequate food or frequent food.

It can be of mental tension,dullness due to lack of exercise, wrong medications.

You have to eat timely food. If you don't have a feeling of apetite then it is very clear that there is some problem in your body.

Now-a-days nobody is caring about balanced diet. Many people are avoiding breakfast because of tension or less time or for diet. This is totally wrong. We should not avoid breakfast.It is the first food for the day and it gives us great energy to work for the whole day.so, You have to eat breakfast with out fail.Because early morning the amount of sugar is less in our body. Proper food will reduce all stomach pains ,stomach problems, ulcer and Asthma gradually.

If you are busy too, Don't forget to eat your break fast.It can be a dosa, 2 idli's or a pair of bread slice.But you have to eat for your good health.

Mainly ladies should not fail to eat breakfast.they are always busy with the house holds.But Their family members should take care of them and make them to eat properly.

Don't diet.Eat well. Eat healthy foods and in less quantity.

You are thinking that it can happen only if we eat rich fruits only? Definitely not.You can eat any fruit of your choice.All seasonal fruits are always cheaper.Eat all the seasonal fruits and make yourself and your family young . You can eat fruits by cutting that into small pieces or you can eat just by biting the fruit directly.

If you don't like many Fruits don't worry,.... which one you like most? you eat that fruit daily ..no problem.

whenever you are watching Television,eat a fruit instead of snacks and ask your kids too, to do this . Slowly it will be a good practice for your family.

Fruits give you vitamins and minerals and makes you fresh and energetic. No need to cook and it is energy saving to. It is easy to buy and easy to eat

Salad makes you Smart

Salads... Easily makes you healthy and slim


A cup of salad/a day keeps you healthy and Brisk. Take a cup of salad daily with your breakfast, lunch or Dinner.


It is better to take fruits for breakfast and dinner and vegetable salads for lunch and dinner.


Onion, Carrot, Cabbage,Sprouts,Apple,Orange,Papaya,grapes and any fruit and vegetable can be made as salad. Cut your desired vegetable or fruits into tiny pieces and arrange them in order.

Garnishing it with corriander and carrot grates will be more tasty and it may attracts to eat. Adding a bit of salt and lemon will make the salad more Tasty. A spoonful of Sugar also can be added .

Salad digests easily and practising children to salad will make them healthy and wise.
